Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier and the name and email you choose to share. We never receive or store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Apple and Google.

Usage and game data. We collect data about how you use the Service, including tasks you create, focus sessions you complete, in-game progress, friends you connect with, and purchases you make.

Device and diagnostic data. We collect technical information about your device (model, OS version, app version), anonymized usage analytics, and crash reports to improve the Service.

How we use your information

To operate the Service (save your progress, sync across devices, deliver social and co-op features), to fix bugs and improve performance, to process purchases, and to communicate with you about your account.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising inside the Service.

How we share your information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (cloud database, sign-in providers, payment processors, analytics). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own data protection commitments.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pomogacha, our users, or others.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

How to delete your account and data

You can delete your Pomogacha account and all associated personal data from inside the app. Follow these steps:

1. Open the Pomogacha app on your device.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom bar.
3. Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen.
5. Tap Delete account.
6. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What gets deleted. Your Supabase user record, cloud-synced game save (coins, gems, pals, focus history, tasks, friends list, coop participation), and any linked Apple or Google sign-in identifier. After confirmation, your account enters a 30-day grace window during which signing back in with the same Apple or Google identity will cancel the deletion. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and the data cannot be recovered.

What may be retained. Anonymised purchase records that we are legally required to keep (typically 7 years for tax and accounting purposes), and any data subject to active legal hold. These retained records contain no personal identifiers tied back to you after deletion.

Need help? If you can no longer access the app to delete your account from inside it, email us at pomogacha@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Pomogacha account" and we will process the request manually within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by emailing us — contact details are in the Help & Support section.

EU/UK users (GDPR). The legal bases we rely on are performance of a contract (operating the Service for you), legitimate interests (improving the Service, security), and consent where required.

California users (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of any "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction — 16 in much of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data and notify you promptly of any breach required to be disclosed by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
